Susan brings over 30 years of service to the accounting and finance community. She has held senior roles with global finance teams and has served as a member of several industry and education working groups.

Dr. Elisabete Doyle

Dr. Elisabete Doyle is an Assistant Professor and Pediatric Emergency Physician of 26 years and currently one of the Section Heads of the Pediatric Emergency Department at the Winnipeg Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Doyle has a passion for teaching and leadership and has been the recipient of the Pediatric Emergency medicine Educator of the year award by the Department of Emergency Medicine. Her teaching is appreciated by trainees at all levels.

Dayna Spiring 

Dayna Spiring is President and CEO of Economic Development Winnipeg Inc. (EDW) and leads all the corporation’s activities including overseeing the business development team, YES! Winnipeg, and Tourism Winnipeg.

Dayna is a passionate Winnipegger with a drive to volunteer. She sits on the board of directors for Winpak Ltd., a Winnipeg-based plastic-packaging pioneer, CancerCare Manitoba Foundation and was recently named Honourary Colonel for 2 Canadian Air Division.

 

Currently the Chair of the Winnipeg Football Club’s board of directors, she is the first woman to have her name engraved on the coveted Grey Cup, after the Winnipeg Blue Bombers historic win in 2019. She is only the second woman to serve on the Canadian Football League’s board of governors.

Jessica Keus is a partner at the award winning, woman led investment practice Enhanced Wealth Management Group with Wellington-Altus Private Wealth.

She takes a family approach in her practice, guiding families along their wealth journey while providing a genuine and relatable experience. Client-Advisor alignment is the primary focus. Taking the time to understand her clients unique situations and provide personalized solutions, to form a loving relationship around their finances.

Jessica is able to modernize the topic of money becoming the approachable, go-to resource for relatable wealth advice.

A graduate of the University of Western, prior to joining Wellington-Altus, she spent nearly 10 years with one of the big six banks in a series of roles from Financial Advisor to Bank Manager.

Phyllis is the CEO and founder at Ultimate Potentials Corporation. With a focus on employees and organizational success, Phyllis and her team helps organizations achieve their business, strategic and financial goals through their people. Phyllis has had a varied and fulfilling career which has helped her better understands the needs of organizations and their contributors. As a member of Red River College's Board of Governors, Phyllis and her colleagues' role is to support college administrators and their employees best meet the needs of the Manitoba business community. By graduating future employees with the requisite skills and abilities, this ensures the Province of Manitoba's economy remains vibrant. 

Phyllis is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), International Coach Academy (ICA) and the American Society for Talent Development (ASTD), The Canadian Mental Health Commission, the Caribbean Women in Information Communication Committee (CWIC), and Caribbean Association of Network Telephone Operations (CANTO). 

She served for 5 years a member of the Winnipeg Foundation's Advisory Committee for their Nourishing Potential community program. Phyllis spent 2 years on the national board of Breakfast for Learning, a project that focuses on ensuring school-aged to elementary aged students' learning is enhanced through proper nutrition. 

A Professional Certified Executive Coach, who holds a master's desgree in public health from the University of Manitoba's Community Health Sciences Program, as well as a certified MBTI personality type practioner, and a certified Psychological Health and Safety Workplace Advisor, Phyllis brings these varied knock ledge, skills, and abilities to her work with organizations. 
 

In her spare time, Phyllis enjoys learnings about the history of ancient civilizations, hiking, biking, cross country skiing, gardening, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Susan brings over 30 years of service to the accounting and finance community. She has held senior roles with global finance teams and has served as a member of several industry and education working groups.

 

In public practice, Susan worked in the areas of audit and taxation and has spent many years teaching, training, and mentoring accounting professionals. She presented at numerous conferences and is currently a member of the CPA Canada Board of Examiners.  Susan was with the CA School of Business (now CPA Western School of Business) at its inception in 2000, delivering one of its first online module offerings and winning the KBH Outstanding Facilitator Award.   While holding several senior positions with the CA School of Business (CASB), she worked in many areas and was responsible for areas of program design and development that were delivered to thousands of aspiring CPAs. 

 

Susan has been an active volunteer and board member for several Winnipeg not-for-profit organizations.  Susan and Serge have three children – now all adults, who can each take their share of the credit for Susan’s negotiation skills.  Anyone who has ever negotiated a truce between a toddler and his sister after the sister switched out her brother’s favourite outfit for a more coordinated ensemble, will know what it takes!!

Sara is the owner of Three Pines Organizing, a small women-led company that brings families relief through organization. After years of working for an overseas non-profit, she and her husband decided to relocate to Winnipeg to raise their three children. Her love of organizing transformed into a career after helping numerous friends and family members declutter their homes. 

With a BA in Psychology, Sara brings empathy and sensitivity to the process of organizing. She works hard to understand her clients who face challenges, having recently been through her own journey with cancer, chemotherapy and the lingering mental health effects. She is committed to helping others develop systems of organization that are unique and long-lasting. Sara believes deeply that each space is tied to the way we feel - which is what keeps her industry in high demand

Her education includes a Bachelor of Science, Doctor of Medicine and Pediatric Residency all at the University of Manitoba. In addition to her Pediatric Emergency Medicine work, Dr. Doyle also holds a position as Hospital Sedation provider, providing sedation to children undergoing diagnostic imaging and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures at the Children’s Hospital in Winnipeg. She is the current Chair of the Royal College Pediatric Emergency Exam committee developing, executing and marking licensure exams for Pediatric Emergency Medicine residents. Previous positions have included that of Postgraduate program Co-director director for Pediatrics at the University of Manitoba, training, supporting, and leading 40 residents.

Dr. Doyle has a passion for teaching and leadership and has been the recipient of the Pediatric Emergency medicine Educator of the year award by the Department of Emergency Medicine. Her teaching is appreciated by trainees at all levels. In addition to this Dr. Doyle serves as a mentor for pediatric residents and new staff in Children’s Emergency Department. She has been married for 30 years and has 3 adult children.

She also serves as President of the Board of Directors for Dream Factory, an incredible non-profit creating dream-experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses.

Dayna’s extensive professional experience includes five years as an associate at Aikins, MacAulay & Thorvaldson LLP in the early 2000s. As the former chief strategy officer and general counsel of the Canadian Wheat Board (CWB), Dayna was charged with leading the corporation’s privatization.

 

Dayna is a passionate Winnipegger with a drive to volunteer.
